RebelJunction.com is a division of McBurney Junction, a lifestyle store located in Langley, British Columbia, who first opened their doors in the fall of 1999. The store is owned and operated by a team consisting of Karla Barton (loving wife), Reid Barton (gracious husband) and Nikki Martine (Karla's best friend).

The trio has worked hard over the years to grow their business from a small home décor store to a thriving company that focuses on handcrafted Canadian made furniture, interior design, THOMAS SABO and PANDORA jewelry.

Upon entering McBurney Junction, you find shop-in-shop style boutique stores that house both of these trend-setting jewelry lines.

Karla got her start in business when, after almost graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan (she still needs those last 3 credits to bring that paper home – Freud would probably have something to say about that!), she answered an ad in the paper that claimed you could "start today, earn cash tomorrow".

After spending 5 years in this glamorous career of door-to-door sales, marrying her soul mate Reid and dreaming of working a little less than 100 hours a week, Karla's direct sales days were numbered. It was time for a career change.

The answer came in the form of a new little retail store in downtown Langley, BC called McBurney Junction. Walking by one day, Karla noticed the "Help Wanted" sign posted in the store window. Never satisfied unless constantly moving onward and upward at a shockingly fast pace, Karla made the store owner an offer she couldn't refuse. After working at the store for only one month, Karla offered to buy the business and much to her surprise, her boss said "Yes!". A few months later, the trio of Karla, Nikki and Reid became the proud new owners of McBurney Junction.

Flash forward 10 years and you will still find Karla at the store a few days a week (when she's not working in the  online distribution center), chatting with customers, unpacking boxes, ringing up sales and still having fun!

Running a business that houses both THOMAS SABO and PANDORA full scale shop-in-shops, as well as offering full interior design services, custom cabinetry and kitchen installations and having a full second story furniture gallery requires a high quality team of people.

The staff at McBurney Junction may come from all different backgrounds but they all have one thing in common – their love for dealing with customers and their passion for the products they sell.
